Nolberto Solano could be set to link up with David Beckham at Los Angeles Galaxy.

The Peruvian winger's agent claims MLS side LA Galaxy are keen on signing the former Newcastle ace.

Solano is looking for a new club after being released by West Ham at the end of last season.

Galaxy boss Ruud Gullit is a big admirer of Solano having worked with him during his time in charge of Newcastle.

The 33-year-old's representative Phil Smith claims talks are ongoing with Galaxy and that the player would be interested in a move to America.

"Nolberto is not against moving to the United States league, where there's genuine interest from Los Angeles Galaxy," Smith told Sports Ya.

"We've already held talks with Ruud Gullit and everything seems to be going well."
