Fulham clinch the signing of sought-after teen striker

Fulham have signed young Swedish striker Muamer Tankovic on a three-year deal. The 16-year-old joins for an undisclosed fee from Swedish Allsvenskan side IFK Norrköping. He was believed to have attracted interest from Chelsea and Manchester United in the past but the Craven Cottage outfit managed to pull off the coup. Tankovic is a Swedish Under-16 international and scored twice in a 3-1 win against Wales in May. He told Aftonbladet: "It just went through and it feels great. "Fulham presented the best offer. They felt best too. "They have told me that they believe in me a lot and see me as a big player in the Premier League in the future. "I will of course start in the youth team and work my way up."
