Rochdale boss Steve Parkin has taken two defenders on a month's loan from Premiership club Bolton Wanderers.
Danny Livesey and N'Diwa Lord-Kangana have both joined the Spotland club for a four-week spell.
Livesey, 19, spent three months on loan at Notts County before returning to The Reebok in December.
19-year-old Lord-Kangana originally hails from Sweden but plays international football for Democratic Republic of Congo.
He has just returned from his country's ill-fated African Cup of Nations campaign in Tunisia and has yet to make a first-team appearance for The Trotters.
He spent time on loan earlier this season with Second Division side Oldham Athletic before heading back to the Premiership club last September.
Parkin was delighted that Bolton manager Sam Allardyce allowed the pair to join the Third Division side on loan.
"I must thank Sam Allardyce at Bolton for his help with the signing of these players," Parkin told the club's official website.
"It is there for all to see that we are light in terms of numbers in our squad, and the signing of Danny and Kangana will help with the competition for places."
