New Wigan Athletic signing Jordi Gomez is eager to play a significant role for the club this campaign.
The Spanish midfielder has been reunited with Wigan boss Roberto Martinez after working with his compatriot at Swansea City last season.
Gomez is delighted at the prospect of playing in the Premier League and is hopeful he will shine at the DW Stadium.
