Eric Black has made his first signing as Coventry City manager, after securing a deal for Aberdeen's Eric Deloumeaux.

The 30-year-old utility player has agreed an 18-month contract at Highfield Road.

The Frenchman has been allowed to leave Pittodrie and Black was delighted to have secured his signature.

"He is an excellent player with plenty of experience and he will boost us in midfield at a time when we a short of players," said Black (pictured).

Deloumeaux, who will wear 22 at Coventry, was also signed by Black during his time at Motherwell.
