Leaders Nottingham Forest head to Oldham Athletic in League One, while Leeds United go to Hartlepool United.

Forest took advantage of the postponement of Carlisle United's game with Swansea City to move top of the table on Saturday after victory over Port Vale.

But Colin Calderwood's face no easy task on Boxing Day with a match at Boundary Park against an Oldham side unbeaten in 10 games in all competitions.

Having had Saturday off, Swansea are at home to struggling Cheltenham Town, while Carlisle are at Tranmere Rovers.

Leeds would be miles clear but for their points deduction, however victory at Hartlepool could take Dennis Wise's side to the summit, depending on results elsewhere.

Bottom club Bournemouth are at home to high-flying Leyton Orient, while another team with a points deduction - Luton Town - are at Bristol Rovers.

Port Vale entertain Walsall, Crewe Alexandra head to Huddersfield Town and Yeovil Town are at home to Swindon Town.

Doncaster Rovers meet Northampton Town at the Keepmoat Stadium, Gillingham tackle Southend United, and Millwall are at home to Brighton & Hove Albion.
