Huddersfield Town boss Peter Jackson has taken Danny Adams on trial as he looks to bolster his squad for the final furlong of the season.
The 29-year-old left back has recently been released from Stockport County, where new boss Chris Turner is looking to cull his first team playing staff.
Jackson admits he has always been impressed with the former Macclesfield defender and will run the rule over the player this week.
''I thought Adams was one of the stand-out players when we played them at their place,'' Jackson told the club's official website.
''He had two very good games against us and I am very surprised he has been released by Stockport.
''He will play in a practice match and I will look at him this week.''
