Bradford City's administrators have agreed a deal with the playing and non-playing staff to extend their wage deferral until July 16.
The move comes as the cash-strapped West Yorkshire club try and restructure before the start of the new League One season.
The Bantams nearly went out of business last week when administrators set a deadline to Valley Parade owner Gordon Gibb to waive a £300,000 rent fee for the coming campaign.
The news brought fresh interest in new investment to save the club from various parties, with Gibb leading one group with a proposed rescue package for The Bantams.
With the club to meet Football League officials this week, Bradford's administrators were pleased to receive further financial assistance from the club staff.
"The joint administrators of Bradford City Football Club have agreed with playing and non-playing staff to extend the deferral of wages until Friday 16 July," a statement read on Bradford's official website.
"The administrators would like to express their appreciation to both staff and players for agreeing a further wage deferral in order to allow discussions with interested parties and key stakeholders to continue."
Despite the news, another player looks set to leave The Bantams, with midfielder Tom Kearney expected to join League Two new boys Chester City.
Kearney could be joined at The Deva Stadium by York City defender Darren Edmondson, who is thought to be in talks with Mark Wright's side.
Chester will also be looking for a new physio after Joe Hinnigan decided to leave the club by mutual consent.
