Jose Mourinho has underlined his commitment to Real Madrid whilst also reaffirming his desire to return to England in the future.

The Real Madrid coach has been strongly linked with a move back to the Premier League, an ambition the former Chelsea chief has never hidden.

But, with three years remaining on his deal at the Santiago Bernabeu, he seems set to remain despite tensions behind the scenes between him and general manager Jorge Valdano.

"My future will be England, for sure, but that future is after Real Madrid"
Jose Mourinho Quotes of the week

"My future is Real Madrid because I have a contract and it looks like the club is happy with my work," he said.

"My future will be England, for sure, but that future is after Real Madrid.

"At the moment I have a contract for three more seasons and I hope I do well enough to deserve to continue here."
