Pennant: Spanish switch
Jermaine Pennant has completed his free transfer move to La Liga new boys Real Zaragoza.
The 26-year-old has signed a three-year deal at Zaragoza after agreeing personal terms and passing a medical.
Pennant, who left Liverpool at the end of last season following the expiration of his contract, is Zaragoza's first signing of the summer following their promotion back to the Spanish top flight.
The former Arsenal and Birmingham man is excited at the prospect of playing in Spain this season.
"I wanted to come to Spain and I had offers from important teams in Europe, but joined Real Zaragoza," Pennant told Zaragoza's official website.
"I really want to get started and do well in the league."
