Deivid: Sent off
Ten-man Fenerbahce earned a goalless with PSV Eindhoven in a bad tempered affair at the Philips Stadion.
English referee Howard Webb was given a busy night as he dished out six yellow cards and one red card to Fenerbahce striker Deivid.
Chances were few and far between in the game as the match was littered by fouls and niggles and it was no surprise when there was a sending off.
PSV Eindhoven defender Eric Addo was lucky to escape a red card midway through the first half when he appeared to spit at Fenerbahce striker Semih Senturk, but the incident was not spotted by Webb.
Fenerbahce suffered a blow ten minutes before the break when star playmaker Alex was forced off through injury - with Ali Bilgin replacing him.
Tempers boiled over again just before half-time when after a goalmouth scramble, Deniz Baris appeared to stamp on Jan Kromkamp, but again the incident went unpunished.
Fenerbahce started the second half the brighter of the two sides and Mehmet Aurelio had sight of goal on 49 minutes, but his shot failed to trouble Heurelho Gomes.
Gomes had a lucky escape five minutes later when he fumbled a cross from Deniz straight to the feet of Semih, but Addo rescued his goalkeeper by getting back to block the Fenerbahce striker's goalbound shot.
The visitors were reduced to ten men on 65 minutes when Deivid was somewhat harshly sent off for a late tackle on substitute Mike Zonneveld.
PSV pushed forward in search of a winner in the remaining 25 minutes, but the Fenerbahce defence repelled their efforts.
The closest the home side came to grabbing a goal was on 78 minutes when substitute Danny Koevermans headed Kromkamp's cross just wide of the post.
The draw maintains Fenerbahce's unbeaten start in the group, while PSV remain in third spot.
