The new Premier League season may only be in the very early stages, but there have already been plenty of great goals, shock results and talking points.
Tottenham are still looking for their first points after going down 2-1 at home to Sunderland. Was Juande Ramos right to leave the unsettled Dimitar Berbatov out of his starting line-up?
Stoke picked up their first-ever Premier League win in a five-goal thriller against Aston Villa. Can Tony Pulis' side defy the critics and beat the drop?
Arsenal have already suffered their first defeat of the season at the hands of Fulham. Are the Gunners serious contenders for the title this season?
Liverpool left it late to defeat Middlesbrough at Anfield, with Steven Gerrard scoring a stunning winner. Are the Reds too reliant on their skipper?
Hull picked up another point at Blackburn, but West Brom were beaten by Everton. How do you think these two newly-promoted sides will fare?
Newcastle had Shay Given and Michael Owen to thank for their narrow win over Bolton. Can the Magpies challenge for silverware under Kevin Keegan?

With the greatest respect to Wenger as he as done a good job with the "invincibles" that he had but his rigid wage structure and lack of trophies is making Arsenal a less appealing team to play for and other teams are really taking the fight to them as they believe they can take something from them. This is dragging Arsenal into a downward circle and meaning few high profile players will want to come and he is left relying on his youth side to perform. So Arsenal need to have a rethink or there will be a lot more "Fulham-ish" matches on the horizon.

I am a Sunderland fan and I love the fact we beat a team claming to break into the top four! I love it that we won but the best thing is that our new signings won it for us. That shows that Keane knows what he is doing on the pitch and in the transfer market. Come on you Black Cats!

John Carruthers says...
This could be an interesting Premier League season. A lot of mid-table clubs have made good signings and are much stronger this season. The 'big four' are going to drop a lot more points this season.

Pathetic!!! as usual Tottenham handle a vital situation in the worst possible way. they did it with the sacking of Martin jol and now they've don it with Berbatov. he's a great player but he doesnt wanna play for us so just let him go!!! as for the situation on the pitch, we cannot achieve what we want to with a half fit back four, 5 midfielders who cant defend and a £16.5m misfit. we need another 3 quality players (2 of them strikers) if we want to challenge for the top 6. Sort it out Ramos!!!

England may have a future in international football under an English manager. I know it,s only early days but Gareth Southgate and Paul Ince are showing some good qualities. They know what it,s like to wear the three lions shirt

I am extremely frustrated and disappointed on how the Tottenham board have handled our pre season transfers,it seems clear to me that replacing Keane and Berbatov should have been top of the priority list.I feel that the only interest the board have is to make a quick buck. All this talk of Spurs getting into the Champions league appears to be a smoke screen as surely selling our top players to the teams we clearly need to beat this season makes no sense to me.Daniel Levy must think we are all straight out of kindergarten,is clear that he will sell Berbatov to Man.Utd and not for the £30 million he said that he would hold out for.Man Utd and Berbatov have held Spurs to ransom its disgusting. Neil Williams life long Spurs fan.

Roy Meadows says...
As a Sunderland supporter I was well pleased with the win at Spurs on Saturday. I know it's early days but we will be a lot stronger and harder to beat this season and with another good striker and a quality centre half I feel we will hopefully be a top half side for most of the season instead of bottom half strugglers.

Gareth Cwikla says...
I thought we played very well against Everton and were easily the better side for long spells in the game. However, I think letting Kevin Phillips go in pre-season was a big mistake. I feel he would have definitely taken some of the chances that we had against Everton. But credit to Everton they defended well and were clinical in front of goal, which is mainly the big difference between the Championship and the Premier League.

As an Arsenal fan, I'm not disappointed with the result but rather how we played.

I just want to say well done to Newcastle for the great start they've had to the season. If they can get a point at Old Trafford it proves they are capable of doing the same against the other top teams like Liverpool and Chelsea.

i think it was a great day 4 stoke, sunderland, and fulham with all three winning.I think it was great for michael owen to score on return.Hull city also got a point and early days say they might stay in the league.I think liverpool were very lucky to get 3 points against boro when they didnt deserve any points.I also think it was a horrible day 4 arsenal but being a man u supporter i thought it was funny.I mentioned i was a red and i dont like the way we are in 15th place but i think if we beat pompey and sign berbatov i think we will storm up the league and make it 3 in a row.

Mark Tierney (Arsenal fan) says...
Arsenal were very poor today. Well done to Fulham who I thought played well. Arsenal problems are in the centre of the park. Eboue and Denilson were awful and thats being polite. Without Fabregas there was no creativity and Arsenal just kept giving the ball away. If we dont buy a quality centre mid we will struggle all season. I honestly think the quality of our football has dropped since Flamini and Hleb left and I don't care what Wenger says, we don't appear to be as good of a team as last season. So MR Wenger get your cheque book out!!!
