Blackpool manager Simon Grayson admits he is powerless to stop speculation surrounding the futures of Wes Hoolahan and Kaspars Gorkss.
Charlton Athletic are reportedly planning an offer for Hoolahan, while Norwich City have been linked with a double bid for the Blackpool duo.
Both Hoolahan and Gorkss have clauses in their contracts which would allow them to leave Bloomfield Road for a knock-down price.
Grayson is aware he could lose the two players, but is hoping to keep winger Hoolahan and defender Gorkss at the club.
"We have to make sure we are prepared for one or two players going," Grayson told the Blackpool Gazette.
"You have to be aware that the players mentioned, and others who have attracted interest, could leave the club.
"We don't want them to leave, but we have to make sure we have players who are available to replace them if they do.
"But that's a big 'if' at the moment.
"Wes and Kaspars are still under contract and are still getting paid by this club, but you can't stop speculation."
