Chelsea have confirmed Avram Grant has signed a four-year deal as first-team coach.
Grant took charge at Stamford Bridge in September following the shock departure of Jose Mourinho.
Eyebrows were raised over Grant's appointment, but the Israeli has impressed during his short time in charge of the West London outfit.
Chelsea are unbeaten since Grant's first game at Manchester United on 23rd September and they have won 12 of the 18 games he has taken charge of.
Grant has guided Chelsea to third spot in the Premier League and into the last 16 of the UEFA Champions League and the club have rewarded him with a long-term contract.
The news is a massive boost for Chelsea ahead of this weekend's Grand Slam Sunday showdown with league leaders Arsenal
