Liverpool have handed Brondby starlet Nicolai Jorgensen a one-week trial.

The 14-year-old goalkeeper has caught the eye of Liverpool scouts and will now train with the Merseyside club.

Jorgensen has admitted his excitement at the opportunity and is now hoping to impress Liverpool manager Rafa Benitez.

"I am looking forward to the challenge," Jorgensen told Ekstra Bladet.

"It will be a big experience to see how I cope with being compared to Englishmen of the same age."
