Hitzfeld: Pleased

Bayern Munich coach Ottmar Hitzfeld believes his team will reach the knock-out stages of the Uefa Cup.

Tuesday's draw pitted the German giants against Bolton, Braga, Crvena Zvezda and Aris Thessaloniki in an attractive-looking Group F.

Hitzfeld has stated his confidence that his squad should have no problems in progressing past the group stage.

"It is an attractive draw with excellent opponents," he told German press.

"I think Bolton and Crvena Zvezda will be our strongest opponents, but on the other hand Bayern is always favourite and that's the case here.

"We have just one goal and that's to reach the last 32."

Excited

Bayern striker Miroslav Klose echoed his coach's words, adding: "I like the look of the group.

"I once played against Thessaloniki for Kaiserslautern, scored a goal and we won the game.

"I'm looking forward to Bolton as I love playing against English clubs, but Red Star and Braga are also interesting clubs.

"If we make sure we concentrate on every game then we will definitely qualify."
