Lafferty: Happy
Kyle Lafferty insists he is happy at Burnley amid rumours he could be on the move in January.
Celtic and Wolves have previously had bids rejected for the Northern Ireland international, while Aston Villa are reportedly considering a New Year swoop.
The striker's former international boss Lawrie Sanchez is also understood to be keen to give Lafferty a chance in the Premier League at Fulham.
But the youngster, who has scored once in 10 Championship appearances this season, feels his development will be best served by staying at Turf Moor.
"This is my first club and where it has all happened for me, so I owe it to Burnley to do all I can," Lafferty told the Lancashire Evening Telegraph.
"When Celtic were interested, a lot of stuff came out in the papers that I didn't really say, but the fans stuck by me and they have been great.
"The bunch of lads the manager has here are great and it's a genuine family club. I'm perfectly happy and I just want to keep on playing my football here.
"The gaffer knows what is best for me and I have to trust him."
