Murphy: Done well so far

Lawrie Sanchez will not rush into a decision on Danny Murphy's long-term future at Fulham.

Murphy moved to Craven Cottage from Tottenham on a season-long deal before the close of the transfer window in August.

The midfielder has scored twice in nine Premier League appearances and has expressed a wish to stay with Fulham.

But Cottagers boss Sanchez wants to assess Murphy over the coming months before offering the former Liverpool player an extension.

"All current players' contracts are reviewed on an ongoing basis," said Sanchez.

"Danny is here and has done well in the games that he has played.

"I'd like to see him over the course of the season - if we want to keep Danny we will keep him."
