Coyle: Delighted with draw
Owen Coyle is looking forward to a 'glamour' tie after Burnley were paired with Arsenal in the third round of the FA Cup.
The Premier League leaders will travel to Turf Moor on the first weekend in January and Coyle is relishing the fixture.
The new Burnley boss has made an encouraging start to his reign and is hoping the Championship club can pull off an upset.
"I don't think they come any better than that," Coyle told Sky Sports News. "It's a fantastic draw for the whole town and it will be a sell-out crowd.
"As a player, coach or manager, you want to play against the best players, the best team, and Arsenal provide that.
"It's certainly a glamour tie for our football club and we're delighted to host Arsenal."
Coyle also confirmed that he will not be instructing his players to sit back against team who have lost just once in 23 games this season.
He added: "We know they're a top Champions League side and will go very close to winning that trophy as well, and we know what we will let ourselves in for.
"But it's a glamour tie and we will give everything we can to show our best. We will be positive, and try and take the game to them.
"It would be folly to sit back and let them come at you, they will just pick you off anyway.
"We do have an opportunity to create a shock, and we will try and do that. It's a big, big ask and we will give it our best shot."
