Aston Villa goalkeeper Thomas Sorensen has rejected reports that he has snubbed an offer from Galatasaray.

The Denmark international is eager to leave Villa Park after losing his place to on-loan Scott Carson, but claims he has had no contact with the Turkish side.

"I haven't negotiated with Galatasaray, and therefore I don't recognise this story," he told BT.

"Generally speaking, nothing serious has happened regarding my future, but hopefully something will happen within a month when the transfer window is open.

"I believe my future will either be in England or Spain - that is where my agent and I are looking in any case."

Galatasaray have reportedly shifted their interest to out-of-favour Manchester City goalkeeper Andreas Isaksson.
