Gianluca Zambrotta's agent has played down reports linking the Barcelona ace with a move to England.

Reports emanating from England have suggested that Chelsea and Tottenham were weighing up a move for the Italy international.

Zambrotta is believed to be considering his future at Camp Nou and he has also been linked with a return to Serie A.

The World Cup winner's agent Marcello Bonetto says he has not heard anything from Chelsea or Spurs, and expects Zambrotta to stay in Spain until the summer at least.

No news

"I don't know anything of this interest," Bonetto told skysports.com.

"I have absolutely no news on interest from either club.

"Gianluca will stay at Barcelona at least until June and then we will see.

"He has a contract until 2010 and I have not been told anything by Barcelona about any contacts."
