Saha: Knee injury

Manchester United have denied reports that striker Louis Saha could be sidelined for the rest of the season.

There were claims that the France international would not play again this term after sustaining a knee ligament injury in training on Friday.

But chief executive David Gill is confident the injury-prone Saha will be back in action sooner rather than later.

Fact

"He only has a slight knock, " Gill told Radio Five Live.

"He is not going to be out for the rest of the season - I know that for a fact."

Saha has been troubled by a series of injuries since his £12.8m move to Old Trafford from Fulham in 2004.

He had knee surgery in the summer and has scored four goals so far this season.
