Sno: Happy at Parkhead

Evander Sno's agent has insisted that the player is 'happy' to stay at Celtic, despite interest from Spanish side Osasuna.

The midfielder is currently frustrated at Parkhead due to his lack of first-team football this season as he has been forced into a bit-part role.

Sno has been pushed down the pecking order at the club following the summer signings of Massimo Donati and Scott Brown.

Last weekend reports suggested that Celtic turned down a bid from Osasuna to take the Dutchman on loan.

Rejected

The 20-year-old's agent has confirmed the approach, while insisting that Sno is determined to fight for his place in Gordon Strachan's side.

"Osasuna had made an offer to take Evander on loan or permanently, but Celtic have turned them down," Chiel Dekker said in the Evening Times.

"Evander is happy with the situation. He is happy at Celtic. It is where he wants to stay and play his football.

"Celtic are doing well in the league and are still involved in the UEFA Champions League and Evander is keen to stay where he is and be a part of that. There are no problems."

Bright future

However, Osasuna coach Jose Angel Ziganda remains adamant that a move to Spain would benefit the Dutchman.

He said: "Sno is young and has a bright future. Spain would definitely be better than Scotland for this young man."
