Taylor: Rovers deal

Andy Taylor has completed his move from Blackburn Rovers to Tranmere for an undisclosed fee.

The 21-year-old left-back has concurred on a two-and-a-half year deal, two months into a loan spell.

Taylor made 13 appearances during his stay at Prenton Park and did more than enough to convince Rovers boss Ronnie Moore he was worth a permanent stay.

Battle won

"We've been battling over the last three or four days with Blackpool to get his signature, we matched the fee that they offered, so it's great Andy has decided to come to us with Blackpool being in the Championship," he told skysports.com.

"He will definitely get first-team football here because he is a quality player. I believe he is money in the bank for this football club.

"He's been one of our best players during this barren spell we are having in front of goal."

Taylor added: "I'm really pleased to be joining Tranmere. I enjoyed my time here on loan and I'm looking forward to playing more football here."
