Bendtner and Adebayor clash after Arsenal's defeat to Tottenham
Really I'd want to win everything, whether it's a cup competition or the Premier League or the UEFA Cup.
Juanda Ramos
Quotes of the week
Juande Ramos admitted his surprise at the rate of Tottenham's development following their emphatic Carling Cup semi-final win that left Arsenal's players appearing to turn on each other.
Spurs ended their miserable run against their rivals in style with a 5-1 victory which saw Arsenal's players lose their cool with pictures suggesting Emmanuel Adebayor and Nicklas Bendtner confronted each other.
Having such an effect on Arsenal seemed remote when Ramos took over from Martin Jol as manager at the end of October.
"Yes, it's been a big change," said Ramos. "But without the collaboration of the footballers themselves, this would have been impossible. The huge effort the players have made to come out of a bad situation means we have been improving.
"We're involved in everything at the moment. I want to publicly recognise that they are the architects of this change."
The result extended his remarkable record in knockout competitions; he has not lost a cup tie in two years.
"Really I'd want to win everything, whether it's a cup competition or the Premier League or the UEFA Cup," the Spaniard added. "Sometimes you don't get the luck. But, really, I don't know why I'm particularly good at knock-out competitions.
"To get to a final in such a short period of time since I came here is a fantastic achievement," Ramos said. "More so for the fans, who are tremendously happy.
"It's been a long time since they've had a flavour of a final. That makes it all the more satisfying."

Last night was such a beautiful night for all Spurs supporters.... ..I was at the game and feel so lucky to be apart of the crowd, its was immense and I have never heard the sound levels as they were, it was rocking, everyone (apart from the gunners) had the biggest of grins, it seemed that 9 years of hurt had just vanished!! What a night and what a game!! It doesnt matter who we play in the final, i can see post saying Chelsea have won already and Spurs have just beaten a reserves team, thats not right, they had big names there!.....In that form we will be so difficult to beat! Well done Ramos!! Well done Spurs!!!!!

Let's not get too excited at this result!! Although an excellent result for Spurs Arsenal are the only team who could have really challanged Chelsea in the final. So the only result we have really seen is Chelsea winning their first piece of silverware of the season. Well done Spurs though! Much deserved and the better team over the two games by a long long way.

Forget 'It's a miserable January', this morning I've woken up and smelt the coffee - it was NOT a dream - we DID beat the Gooners 5-1 ... yes, 5-1, last night!! Well done the players, we knew you had it in you and well done Juande Ramos, you sorted the tactics just right to get the best from our lads for a stunning result. This Spurs supporter of 53 years cannot wait for Wembley, the best North London team is there ... bring it on. Come on you Spurs!

Fair Play to Spurs they deserved it more on the first leg alone. To be honest i didn't think we played that bad in the second game but it was just going to be spurs's night. The thing that worries me more than the score though is the players turing on each other. That was the most painful thing, i hope Wenger sorts that out, he gonna have to if we want the premiership. Good luck to spurs in the final, think Chelsea will win it but good luck anyway.

i think Spurs fans are gettin ahead of themselves, first win over Arsenal in 9 years and well done you beat a under strength Arsenal team. You didn't manage to beat them in the league. Chelsea will win tonight and win the cup.

My phone was red hot last night. Texts from all over the globe. This result made a lot of people sit up and take notice. Arsenal Reserves, yeah right, Ask them how they feel this morning. I suppose Adebayor and Bendtner was the undercard. Come on you Spurs.

SPURS ARE ON THEIR WAY TO WEMBLEY!!!! The spurs team does have good players in, they just lost their way a bit at the start of the season (not martin jol's fault but the boards!!!!!!). However Ramos has done an amazing job with his backroom team to turn this around, the players are fitter and playing for the club again!!!! But please get a keeper coach for poor old Robbo, him and Cerny are being let down by this massive void. DONT SELL ROBBO AND PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT SIGN DOWNING. HE IS A BIG PLAYER AT BORO BUT JUST AN AVERAGE PREMIERSHIP PLAYER IN THE BIG PICTURE!!!! OHARA IS BETTER ON THE LEFT THAN HIM BY A LONG WAY!!!!!!!

What a fantastic results for Spurs fans across the world. 9 long yrs, but with a result like that, it's well worth the wait. The whole team was excellent, but I would of not only given just my right arm, but my left as well to be there last night, the crowd sounded fantastic. Well Done Ramos and Co
