Daniel Cousin is hoping Fifa give him the green light to make his move to Fulham.

Fulham have agreed a £3million deal with Rangers to sign Cousin, but the move has been held up by red tape.

Cousin played 20 minutes of league football as a substitute for French club Lens before moving to Rangers this summer and Fifa regulations forbid a player from playing for more than two clubs in one season.

Reports on Tuesday claimed Fifa had blocked the move, but football's world governing body say they have yet to make a decision on Cousin's transfer.

Cousin, who is training at Fulham, is waiting to see if Fifa will grant him his wish to move to Craven Cottage.

Hoping

"I am hoping that Fifa will allow me to move to Fulham," Cousin told skysports.com

"I have been treated fantastically by the people of Fulham and I want to move there.

"I want to have the chance to score the goals to help them stay in the Premier League.

"Rangers and Fulham want the move to happen and I hope Fifa give the transfer special dispensation."
