Coventry City striker Dele Adebola is set to join Bristol City, subject to passing a medical.
The Sky Blues have accepted an undisclosed fee for the 32-year-old - who has agreed personal terms with the Robins.
Adebola's contract was set to expire in the summer, and despite being offered a one-year extension, he has opted for a move to Ashton Gate.
He will undergo a medical on Thursday, with Bristol City poised to unveil the forward on the final day of the January transfer window.
The Nigerian, who joined Coventry on a free transfer from Crystal Palace in June 2003, has scored four goals in 25 league appearances this season.
