Cech: Injury blow
Petr Cech has been ruled out of Chelsea's UEFA Champions League clash with Olympiakos after suffering an ankle injury.
The goalkeeper is also thought to be facing up to one month on the sidelines after turning his ankle in training prior to the Blues' Champions League last 16 second-leg meeting with the Greek side at Stamford Bridge.
Chelsea manager Avram Grant has handed second choice shot-stopper Carlo Cudicini a starting role as the Blues bid to book a place in the quarter-finals following a 0-0 draw in Athens two weeks ago.
The news will be a major blow to Grant as Chelsea, who are also in the last eight of the FA Cup and remain in the Premier League title race, chase the Treble.
Chelsea badly missed Cech last season when the Czech Republic international was ruled out for three months after suffering a fractured skull in a collision with Reading midfielder Stephen Hunt.
