Caicedo: Settled at City

Felipe Caicedo is determined to make a big impact in the Premier League and help Manchester City win trophies over the next few years.

The highly-rated Ecuadorian joined City from Swiss side Basel in the January transfer window.

He has so far made four substitute appearances but is looking to establish himself as a regular starter as quickly as possible.

Caicedo, whose debut came in the derby win at Old Trafford, has always been a fan of English football and is happy with how he has settled in at City.

"I have ambitions of course. In the next four years I want to score goals, win games and trophies with Manchester City," he told the club's official website.

"I love Manchester City because it is a big club with fanatical supporters, and I would love to give more to the club and the fans.

"I always liked the Premier League because I used to watch it on television in Ecuador.

Dream

"It was always my dream to play at the highest level in football and I always intended to play outside my country."

Caicedo has also revealed that the presence of Sven Goran Eriksson was a major factor in his decision to come to City.

"In every team you can learn something from somebody and this team is no exception," he said.

"I'm sure I will learn lots from the coaches, players and especially the manager.

"Sven Goran Eriksson was a huge influence in my decision to come and play for Manchester City."
