King: PSV test

Ledley King is confident Tottenham can avenge their Uefa Cup first leg defeat to PSV Eindhoven and keep Juande Ramos on course for a European hat-trick.

After successive Uefa Cup crowns with Sevilla in the last two seasons, the Spanish boss is aiming to keep alive hopes of a remarkable third successive triumph when his side grace the Philips Stadion on Wednesday.

The Dutch champions grabbed the ascendancy in their last 16 clash with a 1-0 victory at White Hart Lane last week, but King believes Spurs still have enough quality to progress to the quarter-finals.

Gameplan

"We still believe we can turn it around," King said.

"They came to ours with a gameplan and carried it out perfectly from their point of view.

"From our point of view we were disappointed that we didn't play our normal game at home where we try to play with tempo, but the way they set out it was difficult to penetrate them in the way we like to do.

"But we're confident that we can score anywhere we go and we'll be taking that to Eindhoven."
