Bayern book Dortmund date

Ribery and Klose sees off Wolfsburg

Last updated: 19th March 2008

Bayern Munich booked their place in the German Cup final with a 2-0 win over Wolfsburg.

Second-half goals from Franck Ribery and Miroslav Klose were enough to send Bayern into next month's final.

After a tight first half Bayern broke the deadlock on the hour mark when French ace Ribery fired home from Klose's pass.

Bayern added a second six minutes later when Klose stabbed the ball home from close range after Marcell Jansen's shot was blocked.

The win was the perfect response from Bayern after their shock defeat to Energie Cottbus last weekend.

Bayern will meet old foes Borussia Dortumund in the final as the Bavarian giants look to secure their 14th German Cup success.
