Flamini: Offered new deal
Arsenal are waiting to see if Mathieu Flamini will accept the club's offer of a new deal.
The midfielder's current contract at Emirates Stadium expires at the end of the season and he could leave in the summer for nothing.
The French international has been a revelation for Arsenal this season, establishing himself as a key member of Arsene Wenger's side and keeping World Cup winner Gilberto Silva on the sidelines.
A number of clubs including Italian giants Juventus and Milan are thought to be keen on luring Flamini away from Arsenal and they are monitoring his contract situaion in North London closely.
Arsenal chairman Peter Hill-Wood has confirmed they have made Flamini an offer and they are waiting to find out the midfielder's response.
"We have made him [Flamini] a proposal," Hill-Wood told the Daily Star.
"We have heard from his representatives but they have not given us a response."
