Eduardo: Making progress

Arsenal striker Eduardo is ready to step up his rehabilitation from a horrific broken leg.

The Croatian suffered the injury during the Gunners' 2-2 draw with Birmingham on 23rd February.

It remains unclear how long the player is facing on the sidelines, but the club have reiterated that his progress remains on schedule.

He underwent further tests on Monday, and having been given the all-clear is now set to begin the long road to recovery.

Specialist

"As planned, Eduardo visited a specialist this morning," read a statement on Arsenal's official website.

"X-rays show that he is making satisfactory progress and the full cast on his left leg was removed and has been replaced with an air boot for protection.

"Eduardo's road to recovery is on schedule and he will now start his rehabilitation programme."
