Vine: Facing an operation

QPR have suffered a major blow with the news that Rowan Vine will miss the rest of the season after breaking his leg in training.

The 25-year-old striker requires an operation after fracturing his left leg towards the end of Thursday's training session.

Upset

Rangers physio Paul Hunter said: "Rowan is understandably upset right now, but he is already thinking about getting himself fit as soon as possible."

Vine joined QPR in January from Birmingham for £1million after a successful loan spell, and hit seven goals while playing a key role in the club's climb away from the Championship relegation zone.
