Santa Cruz: Set to stay
Blackburn Rovers striker Roque Santa Cruz has played down talk he could quit Ewood Park this summer and join Manchester United.
The former Bayern Munich ace has had an impressive debut season in the Premier League, netting an impressive 17 league goals - including Rovers' opener against The Red Devils on 19th April.
Reports have linked the Paraguay international with a move to Old Trafford and while Santa Cruz would be open to a move in England, he is not thinking of deserting Blackburn.
"If I have to be transferred I expect it to be inside England because I would like to stay in this country," he told a radio station in Asuncion.
"To tell you the truth I'm not thinking about leaving Blackburn Rovers.
"I know about the interest from Manchester United after what has been said in the press but nobody has spoken with me about that."
