Kamara: Happy to stay on bench

Fulham star Diomansy Kamara says he will have no problem starting Saturday's vital clash with Birmingham on the bench.

Kamara came off the bench to great effect in last weekend's win at Manchester City, scoring twice in the thrilling 3-2 victory to keep alive Fulham's survival hopes.

The Senegal international will not throw a strop if he does not start this weekend following his heroics against City, saying the team must come first.

No problem

"Every player hopes to start every game but if I don't start it's not a problem for me, the team and the win is the most important thing," Kamara told the club's official website.

"If the coach wants me to start then I start, if the coach wants me to stay on the bench then I stay on the bench, if I start on the bench and then come on and score two goals it is OK also!

"Birmingham have a good team and I have a friend who plays for them in Mehdi Nafti. It will be a big, hard game, but I think Fulham will win. "
