Kapo: Going nowhere

Birmingham winger Olivier Kapo has vowed to stay at the club even if they suffer relegation.

The Frenchman says he is happy at St Andrews and plans to stay at the club for the foreseeable future.

Birmingham face Fulham in a relegation six-pointer this weekend as both sides battle to avoid relegation to the Championship.

Kapo, who joined Birmingham from Juventus last summer, believes the future is bright for Blues despite their struggles this season.

"I like the project that the gaffer had in mind," Kapo told the Birmingham Mail.

"I signed for three years for Birmingham and I want to stay here. I think next year we could have a very good team.

"I like it here. My family like Birmingham. For me, in my head, I am staying here.

"After three years, if Birmingham want me for one or two more years, then yes, why not?"
