Purse: Available for FA Cup final
Portsmouth boss Harry Redknapp has queried the Welsh FA's decision to overturn Cardiff defender Darren Purse's red card.
Purse was sent off for a foul in the Bluebirds' 3-3 draw at Burnley last Saturday and handed a ban that would have ruled him out of the FA Cup final.
However, the FAW have reversed the ruling and the 31-year-old is now available to face Pompey at Wembley.
Redknapp is not sure why the FAW were involved and has doubted whether a player from his side would have been given such a reprieve.
"We would not get any help at all, would we?" he said.
"We would get a player banned and that would be it, there is nothing you can do about it.
"I do not want to see the boy missing the FA Cup final but it is a bit farcical.
"Cardiff play in the English league, play in the English cup, want to qualify to represent England in the Uefa Cup and then when they get a player sent off it goes before the Welsh FA."
Sorry, we can not display forthcoming fixtures at this time.
