Mowbray: Hopes to keep trio
West Bromwich Albion manager Tony Mowbray is hopeful that the club's promotion will persuade three of his key players to pen new deals at the club.
The Baggies secured their return to the Premier League on Sunday as they clinched the Championship title with a 2-0 triumph over Queens Park Rangers.
Mowbray has now turned his attention to tying down top scorer Kevin Phillips, midfielder Zoltan Gera and defender Martin Albrechtsen - who are all out of contract at the end of the season - to new deals.
"They will decide their futures. We will make them offers we think are fair in terms of the balance of the squad and where we see them in the squad," Mowbray told the club's official website.
"The bottom line is that it's down to their advisors - I can't put a gun to their heads and make them sign.
"What I've tried to engineer in this club is a spirit and camaraderie so players want to be part of something and hopefully enjoy their football.
"Zoltan has got into double figures this season and Kevin has once again scored over 20 goals.
"I hope they appreciate they play in a team that supplies the ammunition for them and is good for them to play in.
"If they want to be a part of that then great. If not, there will be no falling out."
Meanwhile, on-loan midfielder Do-heon Kim hopes that he has done enough during his time at The Hawthorns to earn a permanent deal.
He said: "I have not had the opportunity to play for a long time. The manager gave me a chance and I was very happy to score.
"I'm hopeful yesterday's game wasn't my last one and I intend to contribute in the Premier League next season."
