Santa Cruz: Happy

Roque Santa Cruz has told Sky Sports that he has no plans to leave Blackburn.

The Paraguayan international striker has had a spectacular first season in the Premier League following his move from Bayern Munich last summer.

The 26-year-old has scored 23 goals, which has seen him linked with a big-money summer move to one of England's big hitters.

But Santa Cruz has always insisted he is more than happy with life at Ewood Park.

"The team wants to become better and I can identify myself with that, and people who want to become better - that is how I think," Santa Cruz told Sky Sports News.

"I have three-years more contract, and I am settled and happy where I am and I think our team can become stronger, I am happy and so there is nothing to think of."

Santa Cruz has been dogged by injury during his career and he admits he is delighted to have gone through the whole campaign with Blackburn without any problems.

"I am surprised I have scored that many goals - I have never played a whole season completely and I didn't expect it," he said.

"Things have been good for me because I am getting support from my manager and supporters."
