Chelsea boss Avram Grant has been named Barclays Manager of the Month for April, while Aston Villa winger Ashley Young has been named Player of the Month.
Grant guided his side to a haul of 10 points from a possible 12 in April as Chelsea kept up the heat on Manchester United in the Premier League title race.
The Israeli coach capped off the month with a vital 2-1 triumph over leaders United, with The Blues level on points with The Red Devils heading into the season's final day.
Young, who was recently nominated for the Professional Footballers' Association's Young Player of the Year award, secured the Player of the Month honour.
The England international struck three goals in four appearances for Villa, with an effort in the 6-0 hammering of Derby and a brace in the 5-1 thrashing of derby rivals Birmingham.
