Coventry chairman Ray Ranson has confirmed the club are keen on signing Wolves striker Freddy Eastwood.

The Wales international has been told he is available for transfer from Molineux after making just 10 Championship starts last season following his summer switch from Southend.

Eastwood almost joined Coventry on loan in January before Wolves pulled out of a deal at the 11th hour.

Ranson admitted Coventry could rekindle their interest in Eastwood as they look to bolster the squad ahead of next season.

Interested

"Would we be interested in signing Eastwood? Yes," Ranson told BBC Coventry & Warwickshire.

"We've got several bids on the table for players.

"It's an ongoing daily process and needless to say the fax machine is working at the Ricoh. I'm speaking to clubs and agents all the time."
