Moore: Deal could rise to £3.5m

West Brom have completed the signing of striker Luke Moore from Aston Villa for an initial fee of £3million.

The 22-year-old joined Villa as a trainee in 2003, but he struggled to impress manager Martin O'Neill in the 2007/08 season and joined West Brom on loan in February.

And after helping the Baggies secure promotion to the Premier League, boss Tony Mowbray has moved to land the forward on a three-year contract.

The deal also includes a further year's option in West Brom's favour and the eventual fee could rise to £3.5m depending on performance-related criteria.

Moore, who also spent a period on loan at Wycombe in the 2003/04 campaign, made 98 appearances for Villa and scored 15 goals.

Mowbray will now hope that Moore, who has earned five caps for the England Under 21s, provides the firepower to keep West Brom in the top flight next season.
