Ljungberg: Raring to go

Sweden have been handed a fitness boost ahead of their Euro 2008 opener against Greece on Tuesday with the news Freddie Ljungberg will be fit to start.

Captain Ljungberg has been a doubt ever since coming off against Ukraine in Sunday's friendly.

A rib injury had threatened his participation in Austria and Switzerland but he has now moved to reassure Sweden's supporters that he is fit and raring to go.

"I am 100 percent healthy now and I'm ready to go full speed," the midfielder told reporters.

"I tried it against Ukraine, 45 minutes just to feel if I could run properly. I could have gone much further than that.

"Everyone who knows me knows when things get serious I go full throttle."
