Patrick Vieira and Thierry Henry could return to boost flagging France for their Euro 2008 meeting with Holland on Friday.

Skipper Vieira and striker Henry missed their opening Group C encounter, the turgid 0-0 draw against Romania, with thigh injuries.

But the former Arsenal team-mates featured in a training match on Tuesday and could now provide coach Raymond Domenech with a major lift.

Internazionale midfielder Vieira damaged his left thigh muscle in the build-up to the tournament, with initial fears that he would have to be replaced by Mathieu Flamini.

But France announced shortly before their clash with Romania that Vieira would remain with the squad, and he could now be set to tackle the in-form Dutch, who demolished World champions Italy 3-0 on Monday.

Henry was an unused substitute against Romania after complaining of a sore thigh following a training session last week.
