Taylor: New deal
Veteran goalkeeper Maik Taylor has signed a new two-year deal to stay at Birmingham.
Following Birmingham's relegation, the out-of-contract Northern Ireland international had reportedly attracted the attention of both Everton and Liverpool, while newly-promoted Stoke were also linked with a move.
But he will stay at St Andrews until 2010 after deciding to help the club to bounce back to the Premier League at the first attempt.
Taylor, 36, joined Birmingham from Fulham in 2003 and has made 188 appearances for the club.
