Messi: Late misses

Brazil were booed by their supporters as they drew 0-0 with Argentina in World Cup 2010 qualification in Belo Horizonte.

Argentina could have snatched the victory late on, but Barcelona forward Lionel Messi missed twice in injury-time.

There were also concerns for Brazil and Manchester United as Anderson was taken off on a stretcher with a knee injury in the first half following a challenge with Liverpool midfielder Javier Mascherano.

The draw allows Argentina, beaten by three-goal margins in their last three meetings with Brazil, to move to within two points of South American group leaders Paraguay.

Brazil, who were beaten 2-0 by Paraguay on Sunday, are fourth after stretching their goalless run to three games.
