Galliani: Wants Adebayor

Milan have revealed that they are not in talks with either Samuel Eto'o or Didier Drogba, and insist that Arsenal's Emmanuel Adebayor is their only striking target.

The Rossoneri have been tracking a host of big names in recent weeks, but they narrowed down their shortlist to Eto'o, Drogba and Adebayor.

But now vice-president Adriano Galliani has confirmed that it is Arsenal ace Adebayor or nothing.

"There is no negotiation for Eto'o or Drogba," he told reporters before entering an Italian League meeting.

"If we do not get Adebayor, we will remain as we are."

Galliani confirmed that Arsenal have responded to Milan's enquiry with a firm 'not for sale'.

"We have received an answer from Arsenal, which says they are not prepared to sell the player," he continued.

"Anything can happen, but for now we are not authorised to negotiate with the player."

Galliani also played up the role that young striker Marco Borriello - who has been recalled from a loan spell at Genoa - could have next term.

"We must not forget what we already have at home in Borriello, who scored 19 goals in the league," he said.

"We have also never asked about [Adrian] Mutu or [Antonio] Cassano as for the second striker Pato is enough."
