Irish side Bohemians must overcome a 1-0 deficit if they are to continue their European adventure.
FK Riga battled to victory in the first leg of their Intertoto Cup second round tie in Latvia.
Former Wolves striker Glen Crowe missed a good chance for Bohemians in the first half before Riga struck just before the break through Valerijs Leonevs.
Riga finished strongly but Pat Fenlon's side ensured there was no further damage and will now try to turn the tie in their favour at Dalymount Park on Saturday.
Norwegian team Rosenborg took control of their clash with FK Ekranas as they won 3-1 in Lithuania.
Roar Strand's opener for Rosenborg (12) was cancelled out by Egidijus Varnas just a minute later, but Alejandro Lago (35) and Yssouf Kone (66) scored again for the visitors.
OFK Belgrade beat Panionios of Greece 1-0 in the first leg of their tie thanks to Andrija Kaludjerovic's goal on 69 minutes.
Danish side Odense BK left it late to defeat TPS of Finland 2-1.
Djiby Fall put Odense in front after five minutes but TPS drew level when Thomas Helveg put through his own net in the 37th minute.
However, Chris Sorensen scored a winner for the away team with just six minutes remaining.
Bnei Sakhnin were also winners on their travels as they saw off Renova of Macedonia 2-1.
A penalty from Khaled Khalaila put the Israeli outfit ahead on 39 minutes and Aziz Rabbah doubled Bnei's advantage after 64 minutes.
Aleksandar Angelovski pulled one back for Renova to give them hope ahead of the return leg.
FK Riga 1 Bohemians 0
FK Ekranas 1 Rosenborg 3
OFK Belgrade 1 Panionios 0
