Skysports.com understands that Derby are again in talks with Swansea about the transfer of Ferrie Bodde.

The two Championship clubs first talked early last month and the player quickly confirmed his desire to move to Pride Park.

However, Derby have not been able to match Swansea's valuation of the Dutch midfielder.

More than once talks have been called off, and now the two are again involved in discussions.

Speaking from Holland, Bodde - who is yet to join Swansea on their pre-season trip to Sweden - admits he just wants the situation resolved as soon as possible.

Hope

"I'm still in Holland, I have some personal things to sort out and my head is not right to be with the team, the talk of a transfer to Derby has been dragging on for too long now," he told skysports.com.

"I had a personal meeting with the manager, he is a good man and has helped me since I have played in the UK and he understands the reasons I want to leave and he told me that there can be a deal with Derby.

"Everyone at Swansea has been great with me and they are a great club, I will always love them and I will never forget what they have done for me but Derby is a big club, with big players and big finances and a history of playing in the Premier League.

"Everybody knows that's what I want. Now I just hope a deal can be done this week."
